Texas Authors Institute of History (TAMIH) is the first museum in the nation dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich literary history of Texas Authors. Our mission is simple but powerful:

Since 2015, with the help of our sister organizations — Authors Marketing International, LLC, and DEAR Texas, Inc. — we have:
- Grown our physical collection of Texas-authored books and memorabilia.

There are an estimated one million books written by Texas authors over the last two centuries. TAMIH is committed to building a facility to house these works and to serve as a hub for literacy and creativity across the state.

Your sponsorship directly supports programs that amplify the voices of minority authors — including Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and disabled writers — ensuring their stories are preserved and shared with readers everywhere.
